This was an entertaining little scene- very early on, we were experimenting with on-camera roleplay (verdict- Russell can’t act). Emily and I had fun doing our psuedo-military thing, though. The idea was that ‘Tyler’ was trying to join my nonspecified-paramilitary-type-unit (with paintball gear in the background because I had some). I treat ‘him’ just like I would any guy trying to join up- making him do pushups, testing his obedience, fondling him inappropriately, etc. I eventually pick up on her actual gender and continue the induction process with more nudity. :) Plenty of forced exercise, and some nice boot worship.

This is one of our medium-earlier shoots. Dreina and I had been playing together for quite a while with great chemistry and well-established very bratty dynamic; there wasn’t much of a theme besides ‘do terrible things to Dreina and make us both happy.’ She was chilly starting out (we’d actually just shot a scene with her and Lauren that involved her getting sprayed with quite a bit of water). So, I warmed her outsides with some fire, then warmed her insides by chasing her around the room with Mean Implements(tm), then warmed her bottom with a short caning (there was also some poking with sharp sticks).

random observations:

-You’ll note that this is the earliest appearance of zipties in one of our shoots- they worked pretty well to keep her spread-eagled for the fire. One thing I discovered in some off-camera play with these: If you’re trying to get the loop over both someone’s wrists while they’re struggling, do _not_ give up and link two together with one around each wrist. If you do this, as the person struggles the ties will pull at each other in a way that tightens both of them. They’re then painful, dangerous, and tough to get a pair of shears underneath to cut off. Much better to get a single one around both limbs, or use a double-loop police flexcuff.

-There’s some very enjoyable bouncing that takes place when I chase Dreina around the room while she’s hobbled.

-The caning is not a lot of strokes, but they’re nice hard ones; she really struggled with it.

-I just re-watched the outtakes, and oh dear. I’d forgotten this one…

Lauren and I had a fun-and-a-bit-silly-but-nonetheless-hot idea for something, and we made it happen after we were done shooting ‘Madison Scrubbed Down‘. We wanted to hang a pretty girl up in the air and soak the heck out of her with squirtguns. Our friend Max (of bondagelessons.com) was happy to swing by and do a quick guest suspension for us, and I brought a small arsenal of waterguns. The end result was a few minutes of video, just under a hundred stills, two entertained meanies, and one very dripping girl.

This worked well in a few different ways. Madison loves rope, so she was happy just getting up in the air. People respond very viscerally to water (especially cold water, which some of this was) running over their face when they can’t do anything about it. Something about the process of choosing targets on a helpless pretty girl is really satisfying. Plus, Madison looked really good soaking wet.

You may notice one of the squirtguns appears in the stills but not the video. What happened is I failed to warn Maxx and Red (who were running the video cameras) that I was about to bring out my big guns. I made sure that Kurt had a good shot for the stills, and assumed that they’d notice the setup, which they didn’t. When I used it there was a sizable amount of splashback (including toward our expensive lights), and they were too busy diving out of the way to get good footage. That one’s really an outdoor toy, but hopefully someday we’ll be able to use it again.

Madison Young looks damn fine strapped down on a gurney. That could have almost been the scene by itself. I had these ideas for mean things I wanted to do to her, though, and having a pretty girl helpless and open like that invites certain… abuses. ^-^

The gurney belongs to a friend of ours. Once she was firmly attached, I got out a nice stiff scrub brush. The first few passes with one of these aren’t bad, but around the Nth pass, skin starts getting pretty sensitized. Following it up with other sting toys, and an electric toothbrush (really! I’d filed off the guard on the back of the head, so it had both a hard vibrating bit and the vibrating bristles) meant a pretty intense scene. Finishing her off with first a chunk of ice, then a cast ice dildo several inches around left her shivering pretty hard (small girl = little body mass to retain heat). Nice guy that I am, I helped her warm up afterwards with a hair dryer, on ‘high’, a little closer to the skin than you might normally go.

I really like shooting with Madison. She’s small and cute, game to try pretty much anything, and tough enough to handle it. I had some hot ideas I wanted to try out with her, to see how they came across on camera, and I think it worked pretty well.

The first time she was up here, she ended up with a fair number of marks. This time, one of my goals was to do less visible ‘damage’, but push her even harder if possible. She’d been able to take quite a lot- the limiting factor in our scenes was bruising rather than her processing skills. Normally what I’d use for a lot of pain without excessive marking is electricity, but one of her few limits is electrical play. So, I had to get creative.

Abrasion play is interesting. The first few swipes with a stiff brush over sensitive skin take the dead skin off and wake the nerves up. After that, it can get pretty rough. You can add other sensations (say heat, or cold, or both), and they all just build on each other. The one tricky bit is that if you work a single spot too much, you can get down through too many layers of skin (I had an unfortunate incident once, playing off-camera with Lauren actually). So, I had to make sure I distributed the scrubbing really thoroughly over her entire body. It was a tough job, but I think I managed.

I didn’t actually fuck her with the ice dildo the size of my forearm, but I fit part of the head in and made her count to fifty _really_ fast. That’ll probably end up as a sample video clip someday, it’s one of my favorite moments on the video.

We did a couple stand-alone little bits with her after the full-length scene, one of them was a friend of ours suspending her while Lauren and I worked her over with squirtguns. Thus, Madison is dripping wet and wrapped in a towel in the exit interview with Lauren and I, and we’re talking about the whole thing. I’ll try and get that bit up in the next few days…

We won ‘Best Hardcore’ in The Stranger’s Hump 2007 Amateur and Locally Produced Porn Contest. We’d created Pirate vs Ninja for the first one a couple years ago, and this year they asked us very nicely to send something in. We edited down ‘Everyone Likes Candy‘ into a seven-minute package and called it ‘Lauren Likes Candy‘. The audiences thought it was pretty intense, but still voted for us for Best Hardcore (as opposed to Best Funny/Erotic, the other prize).

Emily is _adorably_ cute. We didn’t particularly plan out this shoot, just played with the stuff we both like. Lots of play with sharp metal things, impact on sensitive bits, etc. Much of the first part of the shoot she’s not restrained at all, on purpose so I could watch her struggle to hold still while I did terrible things to her. ^-^ She was a good girl but did squeak and squirm quite a bit, so eventually some bondage was needed. Once she was pretty immobile, I told her to shake her tits for me or I’d do more mean things. That was of course grossly unfair, but she did her best.

The second part of the scene included a first for Emily (imagine, she’d never had someone smear tiger balm in her asshole). This got intense pretty fast, but we were able to recover nicely. We finished with some unique uses for flash cotton, read on for details…

I’ve got a friend who’s been experimenting with spinning flash cotton into thread. Months (and months and months) before this shoot, Emily and I had played very briefly off-camera with setting the thread on her and igniting it. She’d thought this was just the coolest thing since sliced bread, but moved away before we could play further. She came back for a visit and this shoot, and she was _really_ excited to have a chance to play with it some more. It worked quite well, we used it a few different ways. I think my favorite was having her sitting on the floor to light for herself the end of a long ‘fuse’ running along the floor to her feet, then back up along her leg to a pile of loose flash cotton sitting on her pubic mound. Taking an action to initiate something you’re scared of is a lot tougher than having someone do it for you, and she also had plenty of time to think about it while the fuse burned. Fear is hot.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: This was fun and sexy, Emily had a (ahem) blast and wants to do it again, but I think I’d stick to loose cotton if I were to do this another time. Spinning the flash cotton down to thread means it burns slower. That’s handy for psychological effects involving duration, but means there’s more heat transferred. The sensation is thus more intense (which Emily also liked), but also involves a greater risk of burns. We’d played with it before and she’d had no marks, but this scene left some surface marking that I gather took a few weeks to go away.

IMPORTANT SAFETY DISCLAIMER: Fire burns. Don’t play with fire without knowing the risks and how to mitigate them to a level that’s acceptable to the _informed_ consent of everyone involved. Reading a couple articles on the Internet is really not adequate research! If there’s a BDSM group in your area, find someone who knows what they’re doing in real life, and learn from them. There’s a book out there (link), but it’s not the same thing- learn and practice with a person if you want to do this.

The Stranger, our favorite local weekly here in Seattle, is running their amateur and locally produced porn contest for the third year. We created Pirate vs Ninja for the first year. Last year we didn’t do anything, this year we had some neat ideas but didn’t have the time to put anything together, until we got a very sweet note from Dan Savage (the editor) asking if we could _please_ submit something, even if we hadn’t shot it specifically for them. So, we edited Everyone Likes Candy down into a seven-minute short (and by ‘we’ I mean Red, our wonderful editor) and retitled it ‘Lauren Likes Candy’. Very unfortunately, Lauren and Red and I will be on the East Coast the weekend they’re showing everything, but we’d love to hear from anyone else that does go!

This shoot was tough to do and tough to capture on camera for a number of reasons. Our main photographer couldn’t make it, so we had someone else step in at pretty short notice (thanks, Jeanette!). For most of the first half of the shoot, the next-door tenants were playing Really Bad Dance Music at club-level volumes - distracting, to say the least! (Hey, you try being a big, bad top with disco deedleing loudly in the background. :P ) To add to the chaos, we lost a whole card of stills from near the beginning of the shoot due to technical difficulties. And those weren’t the only ways things didn’t go as planned…

Maxx is my primary partner, and we play in a very connected, high-chemistry way. Ordinarily, she’s a massive painslut, wearing out my arms before she’s anywhere close to done. This scene began as a fairly straightforward impact play set, but quickly became something more cathartic. Due to a number of factors, she was having a much tougher time than usual processing intense sensation, which turned the tears on much earlier than either of us anticipated. We played through it because we were both still enjoying ourselves deeply - as the smiles during and after the tears will attest - but it remains a good example of how scenes have a way of taking on a shape of their own regardless of either player’s intent.

We began with some garden-variety roughhousing, which soon evolved into a lot of me hitting Maxx with the Mean Thuddy Stick-thing of Doom. The original idea was for me to push her past the pre-negotiated bratting stage to a point where she was willing to beg me to put a pronged training collar on her. Because of the direction the scene went, we never reached that goal - but it gave me something to play with for next time!

She had been making smartassed comments about the “giant zip-ties” that Russell and I are so fond of. I had planned to cuff her hands behind her back with them, but decided to use them as an impact toy first. As you might imagine, they pack a MEAN sting. Afterwards, I used them for their intended purpose while flogging her until she decided that they weren’t quite as funny anymore. It was a hot, fun bit - and due to the aforementioned camera difficulties, we don’t have any stills from it. You should be able to see it on the video, though!

I experimented with a couple lazy-top forms of bondage (a scratchy hemp lasso and then suspension cuffs clipped to an overhead chain and pulley set) while I alternated between thuddy impact (which Maxx loves) and stingy impact (which she violently hates).

One of my favorite toys was particularly tough for her–a heavy flogger made from “vegan leather” (rubber, for all intents and purposes), with narrow tails that split again halfway down the fall. This is one of my favorite scenes we’ve done. As we know, I’m generally much more about roughhousing than bondage, but I had a couple ideas for this shoot. We got some hot bondage positions and some _great_ play out of it. Nikki works as a dancer, we rented a local club to shoot in. Started with a lap dance with a little more contact than usual *g*, then chained her up against the pole, then took advantage of the railings and platform to put her into two bondage positions that served my kinks perfectly.

The rest of the scene was fun, but I’m going to go on about those two bondage positions. ^-^

The first had her kneeling on a platform with her ankles chained behind her to a pole, and her wrists tied out and forward to railings a few feet away. She’s light and strong, I was concerned that this wouldn’t be maintainable for very long but she stuck with it for quite a while, holding a fair amount of weight with wrists and shoulders. The position meant that her breasts were hanging down and very vulnerable (she couldn’t pull away much), so I slapped hard and pinched hard and pulled hard quite a lot.
