Two Big Meanies

I dropped by to help out at the House of Gord a few weeks ago, and ended up putting in a little appearance. ^-^

Those of you in Seattle who aren’t going down to Portland for either the Vampire Masquerade Ball or Kinkfest should go to the Cuff Complex for the leather contest this Saturday. Our friend (and model) Miss Candy is competing to be the Washington State Ms Leather titleholder!

We’re canceling the intermediate flogging workshop- just not enough registrations to make it worthwhile. A class with Erika and I plus two stunt bottoms, teaching two or three people, seems kinda silly. ^-^ We’ve got time slots in March and May, I think we’re doing Caning and either Verbal Play or another Basic Flogging but not sure.

It’s interesting how sparsely-attended this workshop always is, compared to Basic Flogging or any of the others. My guess is that people are put off by the label ‘intermediate’, but I’m not sure what else to call it. I’m of the belief that ‘advanced’ is something you really need to learn for yourself, but we teach the framework to build from in this one. Maybe ‘Building Blocks of Advanced Flogging, Nothing You Can’t Handle?’

One of the many things that I do when I’m not making porn is write a “sex and relationships” column for my college newspaper under the not-so-secret pen name of Ms. Scarlet. I thought you all might be interested in the most recent installment, since it draws directly on my experiences as a BDSM player and a porn producer.
